Quranso — Terms of Service

Effective October 27, 2026

By using Quranso, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please stop using the app.

Permitted use

You may use Quranso for lawful personal reading, study, listening, and worship. Do not misuse the service, interfere with its operation, attempt unauthorized access, or use it to harm others.

Accounts

An account is optional: you can use Quranso as a guest, or sign in with Google to keep your favourites, notes, streak and memorisation on every device. Keep your Google account secure; you are responsible for activity under it. You may permanently delete your Quranso account at any time in Settings (⋯ beside your name → Delete account).

Content and availability

Quran text, translations, tafseer, audio, and other materials may come from third-party sources and remain subject to their respective rights. We work to preserve accuracy, but you should consult qualified scholars and verified sources for religious guidance.

Learning aids

Memorise is a help for learning, not a teacher. The word marked as the sheikh recites, the way each word is spelled in Somali letters, and the questions of the test are prepared automatically and may now and then be out of step or imperfect. Learn the correct recitation (tajweed) from a qualified teacher, and rely on the printed mushaf and the recitation itself.

Free to use

Quranso is free and has no ads. Your favourites, notes and progress are kept on your own device and, if you sign in, with your account as well; without an account, keep a copy (export) if you want to move them to another device.

No warranties

The app is provided “as is” and “as available.” Features, external content, downloads, notifications, or network access may occasionally be unavailable or contain errors.

Changes and contact

We may update these terms as the app evolves. Continued use after an update means you accept the revised terms. Questions can be sent using the contact information on this About page.
